Day 68: Abancay, Peru to Cusco, Peru

Another decent ride today.  Rolled into Cusco around 2:00pm.  The City caught me by surprise.  I thought I would see a combination of the new and the old, in terms of construction, lifestyle and business, but I was pleasantly mistaken, all old.  Cusco can be summed up as a quaint village that never stopped growing.  No tall glass covered buildings, no modern business centers, just adobe and granite, with few buildings over three stories.  I am staying in a hostel the next couple of nights. I like the variety between Airbnb, hotels, and hostels. but what I am looking forward to the most is having a kitchen.

Tomorrows plan is to get the bike serviced, washed and ready for my friends arrival.
