Day 63: Barranca, Peru to Pisco, Peru

Rolled out of Barranca today. I received a last minute call from TouraTech Peru and they located a new rear tire for Greta.  Picked it up, went to a car dealership and together we installed it (I had the tools to remove the wheel and they had the tire mounting machine and industrial strength air compressor to set the bead).   I am a happy boy as the tire is the first, and hopefully only, replacement for the trip.  My back end had been dancing during aggressive cornering, and that should be done with.  Afterwards, I took off down the coast to Pisco.   The weather was a bit spotty with some rain, fog and eventual sun.  Most of the Pan American Highway ran along the coast, but in my opinion, any amount less than 100 percent is not enough.   Arrived in Pisco around 2:00pm.  Pisco is a small fishing town with very few outsiders.  I think I am in the only hotel in town and I believe I am here alone.  I walked around town for a bit this afternoon and all eyes, and a quite a few giggles, were on me.
