Day 59: Lima, Peru

I mapped out the rest of my tour, from Cusco to Buenos Aires anyway, the first real planning I have done during this trip.  Why now? Well I have to get the bike, and myself, on an airplane, and I really have no idea how to do it.  Something tells me that it is not as easy as showing up and curb checking at the airport.  I have written the airlines and some freight handlers, and I am awaiting their reply.  Why Cusco? Well, my best friend is flying into Peru to play for 10 days. and he will be arriving and departing from there.

Did get some good news today.  The Argentinians have dropped their $162 reciprocity fee to enter their country.  The US is dropping their visa requirements, so I guess the tit is worth the tat.   The best part is that if I had paid the fee before I left the US, I would of spent $162 on an unneeded visa.   A quick round of applause for procrastination!!!
