Day 78: Sacred Valley

Despedia Peru

I will be forever changed thanks to this amazing country.  On my last day we retraced some of our route from the first day, but this time I was able to enjoy the stunning landscape of the Sacred Valley.  The heart of Peru is certainly in the country side, its cities frankly have lots and lots to be desired.  The cities of Cusco and Aerquipa's historic districts held much to view and absorb, but those small pockets are surrounded by chaos, filth and dilapidation.

Huge thanks to Ken for guiding us in and around back streets, main thoroughfares and dirt roads to our intended destination each day.

The photos I have and words I've used to try to describe this past week all fall short, but memories are best when they are kept deep in you.

Now I go back to the real 8-6 grind and Ken continues on>>>>
